Have just returned from an amazing trip to Hong Kong and China... Feel very blessed to have been with my three adult children (and fourth favourite child) join me... The scary thing is that I wasn't away very long but when I came back I felt no tug back to my studio - its as if I had never painted in my life... It was as if I had not spent the past many years spending 6 hours a day there? After circling the house for two days, I took a tentative look into the studio and was pleasantly surprised. Not only did I like the work in there but I realised that I could and would go back in... So today was my first foray into the studio after only two and a half weeks away. I sealed some paintings and painted the sides of others. Nothing too adventurous for the time being... I have to get back into this thing slowly...
Bibs, bobs and boring bits....
